Cardiac Conditions in Obstetric Care (AIM Safety Bundle)
The Cardiac Conditions in Pregnant Women Toolkit, available on the MSPQC website, is designed to support hospital teams in implementing evidence-based practices to improve the identification, management, and care of cardiac conditions during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Developed in partnership with the state AIM team, the toolkit provides practical resources including clinical guidance, protocols, patient education materials, and quality improvement tools to assist teams in delivering timely, coordinated, and high-quality care. This resource serves as a central hub to help hospitals strengthen systems of care and improve maternal outcomes across Mississippi.
